Kari has spent over 20 years working with government departments, private sector businesses and Higher Education Institutions throughout Australia; delivering training focused on wellbeing, emotional intelligence and engagement. Kari brings a strong foundation of current theory and research to her sessions as well as highly developed training and facilitation skills to create practical and dynamic learning and development experiences.
Kari has held leadership positions both within schools and private sector businesses. Through these roles she developed a passion for staff wellbeing, employee engagement and making authentic connections with both clients and colleagues. This led her down the path of training and mentoring to maximise team productivity and success.
Kari was part of a world first Positive Psychology Coaching program in 2003, developed by Martin Seligman, where she was trained in the principles of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing by leading academics in the field. She has also completed a Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing, a Graduate Certificate of Business Wellbeing, focusing on how Positive Psychology applies to business and organisational wellbeing, as well as examining the impact employee wellbeing has on engagement. This was the first academic course of its type globally and was supported by the Sydney Business School.
Kari also has specialist training in Positive Leadership and has been actively applying the science within a wide variety of settings for the past decade.
